while others are more complex. Other jobs increase in cost
if you change your mind throughout the process.
Although these prices are fairly accurate, please keep in mind that
they are ESTIMATES ONLY,
and are being provided so that
you can get a ROUGH IDEA of what costs are involved
in obtaining your Drawings.
When you call us we will visit your project site and discuss your project PLUS give you a written quote for making your plan a reality. Please note that our drawings alone may not be adequate to obtain a building permit, but should be sufficient to obtain quotes from registered contractors for a more precise estimate of your project costs. | |
| Estimate | Task Description |
| $25 / -$35 | Telephone estimates are still free, however a $25 consultation fee is now required
for all on-site inspections. A check for $25 can be mailed prior to our meeting.
Unfortunately this has become necessary because some people ask us to their property seeking advice on their project, and then simply do the project themselves. To offset this requirement, $35 will be taken off your project if you decide to do business with us.** |
| These drawings are required for all permit applications, but are not required for getting bids from contractors. | |
| But first... save $100 | Save four hundred bucks right off the bat!!!
We are glad to get these drawings for you, but we give you the option to obtain basic maps yourself.
Ask for the Plot Plan from Sun City HOA or PORA; and the Floor Plan
for your address from Ken Meade Realty or PORA. They have copies of many of them. No matter who you hire, all building permits require these drawings. We give you the option of doing this task yourself, by simply visiting the HOA and Ken Meade and asking for the plans for your particular address. All you have to do is ask. They are very helpful! |

| $350 / 600 ** | Add NEW trussed roof to existing patio (no walls - roof supported by pillars) |

The drawings you will receive will be of a quality that will be sufficient to receive precise bids and complete your project
exactly as expected. Since many of the laws surrounding Planning and Zoning permits have changed recently, we may no
longer have the ability to produce all of the documentation required by Planning and Zoning. For example; some modifications
to supports now require an engineers stamp. We are draftsmen, not engineers.
We are glad to provide everything that we are able to help you apply for your permit, but we cannot provide everything you might need. Third party costs are paid separately, and drawing revisions to address the comments of Planning and Zoning are billed at $55 per hour. We are also willing to take your drawing to Planning and Zoning, but this is also something that we must charge for now. |
| Financial Arrangements | No money is required until we start your job. At that time, half of the estimated cost is required. We accept most credit cards, if that is preferable. The remainder is due upon completion, and before delivery, of your drawings. |
